In cooperation with the biggest aesthetic surgery facility in Slovakia – Interklinik, the water park is opening a top-class medical centre this autumn. The clinic services will be available for hotel guests literally on the doorstep of their rooms. The unique concept is based on the symbiosis of a water park, a hotel resort and a clinic with high-quality services.
The planned modernisation is meant to increase the water park capacity and make it more attractive. A new water slide tower (double as high as the present one) shall be added and constructional changes should be made in the outdoor area too, e.g. on the roof of the so called mini house where a restaurant with a relaxation summer zone is going to be built. The park entrance is going to be renewed as well.
The wellness centre with an area of more than 1,590 m2 is full of contrasts and its concept is based on the elements of fire and water. They are the main symbols of the new centre which is divided in a private and a party zone with various types of saunas and inhalation rooms. A special ceremony sauna presents remarkable sauna shows, a classical Finnish sauna, herbal, steam or eucalyptus sauna, Himalayan salt sauna, infrared saunas and a snow cave caress all senses, awaken the body and refresh the mind. The private zone guarantees flawless relaxation and features a pool with the so called “Bay of love”, relaxation rooms with bio fireplaces and a water bed. Don´t miss the unique 14-metre-long Vital Bar with a trendy selection of healthy drinks, cocktails and light meals and get a healthy suntan in our solarium. The Fire & Water Wellness & Spa centre offers many atypical products but clients can also enjoy traditional or exotic Thai massages and cryotherapy that boosts health and physical form.
Thermal pools use energy of underground geothermal water sources located at the foot of the High Tatras in the basin of Podtatranská kotlina. The water world of AquaCity has received various awards for keeping high environmental standards and is definitely worth visiting.
AquaCity Poprad offers great fun to all clients, e.g. in an original children´s pool called Treasure Island. Exciting adventures, exotic atmosphere and salty sea. The new children´s zone with a relaxation terrace and various attractions is tailored for all age groups. There are various thematic activities and children´s parties at weekends. The treasures of the island are watched by the guardians of the children´s water paradise – iguanas Hugo and Boss.
Imagine romantic snowfall and relaxation in hot thermal water in the open air. Year-round outdoor pools with temperatures of 30 to 38°C are ideal for peaceful moments and spoiling relaxation. The water rises as deep as 1,300 metres and contains more than 20 minerals that are beneficial for human health. AquaCity also feature indoor relaxation thermal pools with chromotherapy in the Blue Sapphire section. They offer a wide range of services and are environmentally friendly. A multimedia 3D laser show in these pools creates an unforgettable atmosphere every evening. A 71-metre-long “Black hole” water slide and a 54-metre-long “Twister” with various turns guarantee great adrenalin adventures. The so called Mayan pyramid with water attractions for all age groups is opened in the summer (1/7 – 31/8).
Luxurious thermal Blue Diamond pools with various water attractions, whirlpools, massage jets and water currents are ideal for flawless relaxation in a beautiful and stylish interior. A comfortable atmosphere and hot thermal water make the indoor relaxation pool tailored for smaller children as well as adults. What´s more, there is also a popular water bar where clients can enjoy delicious drinks inside a pool.
In addition to the pools, children can frolic at kid´s corners and a children´s playground with various swings and a mini train. There is also a kindergarten available every day where parents can leave their kids with professional staff members and could enjoy well-deserved relaxation. Animators and mascots Oscar, Olivia and Lilly guarantee entertainment and fun for all age groups with a great programme and various sports activities.
Do you love swimming? Try our new swimming pool, which is ideal not only to give a proper sports performance but also to relax. There are eight swimming lanes that can be used all week long. The new paradise for swimmers meets the requirements for organising training camps, sports camps and swimming events.
The pool has been renewed based on the parameters of the International Swimming Association (FINA) and not only guarantees quality training conditions for athletes but can host swimming competitions. There are sixteen FINA starting blocks. For training camps, training purposes or competitions, the OMEGA timekeeping system for two lanes built in the bottom can be rented. Next to the pool, there are two direction rooms available for rent during competitions and training. A LED screen (4.8 x 2.8m) is at disposal too.
The new stainless-steel pool offers absolute user comfort for athletes as well as recreational swimmers. The water temperature is very pleasant – 28°C. The pool bottom is designed to guarantee a continuous slope and a depth range of 1.35 – 1.8 metres. Lined with safety glass as deep as 1.2 metres, it is designated not only for sports performances but also for relaxation. If you need to stimulate your blood circulation, there is a steam sauna with a high humidity level at disposal to remove harmful substances from your body and have a rest. Get fit and boost your vitality and health.
In the spectator area, lights are embedded in wooden strips. It is more comfortable for spectators to support swimmers at events and for swimmers to train. There is floor heating on individual levels of seats, which adds extra comfort too. The designers of the new swimming pool have thought of wheelchair accessibility too.
